The overall objectives are:
- To understand how each organisation creates opportunities for lifelong learning and active community involvement for older people through volunteering in three areas – participation in environmental projects, using new technologies to socialise through social media and promoting cultural awareness.
- To contribute to the protection of environment in our areas by enabling the local communities to draw on the potential of senior citizens as a source of knowledge, competence and experience.
- To involve Seniors in Educational and Cultural Activities
- To use Seniors as Mentors for Younger people and the opposite.
